Hi there, I'm Gedrich
I'm a Product Designer based in Toronto, with a background in architectural engineering and a growing focus on digital products, AI experiences, and design systems.
My path into product design started with a lifelong connection to art and visual storytelling. From sketching and architecture to graphic design, photography, and now digital product design, I've always been drawn to the way ideas become experiences. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a more practical question: how can design make complex systems feel clear, useful, and human?
Today, my work sits at the intersection of creativity, product thinking, and front-end development. I enjoy shaping ideas from early strategy and user flows to polished interfaces, prototypes, and scalable components. I've worked on academic publishing tools, AI-powered products, collaborative workspaces, and experiences designed for researchers, including neuroscience-focused platforms.
I Believe that...
I believe that good design should feel effortless, quietly supporting people without demanding unnecessary attention. My approach is rooted in clarity, empathy, and function, simplifying complex experiences, removing friction, and creating products that feel intuitive while still carrying character. By blending thoughtful aesthetics with practical systems, I aim to design experiences that help people move through important, difficult, or overwhelming moments with more confidence and less noise.
Less is...
Less is not about removing meaning, it is about making space for what matters. My design journey has been shaped by the world around me, from nature and architecture to the people, mentors, and collaborators who have helped me grow along the way. I believe every experience, every project, and every conversation adds something to the way I see and create. The world continues to be the catalyst for my story, my identity, and my work, and I'm always curious to see what the next chapter will teach me.
